Our Osteopaths Mark Mathews and Tim Jewers have been working together for more than 20 years. They are supported by a great team of receptionists, together with others who help us to keep everything running smoothly. All members of our team are very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions you may have. They are on hand to advise and guide the broad scope of patients who make use of the integrated services that we offer. We enjoy welcoming patients of every age and from all walks of life who visit us for help with all manner of different kinds of problems. When you visit we want you to feel at home and refreshments are provided in the reception area. Within the reception area we also have a selection of pamphlets explaining many different aspects of our services and trreatments in more detail. MARK MATHEWS BSc (Hons), DO, MRO
Partner Practitioner

Mark Mathews graduated in Ecology from Edinburgh University in 1969 and was subsequently responsible for managing the set-up of the National Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales. Mark Mathews qualified as an Osteopath in 1979 and then completed his first course in Applied Kinesiology in 1984.  Mark continues to study with the world’s most knowledgeable teachers and has himself published widely on the subject.  He has also trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming over many years and graduated from the Robbins Research International Mastery University. In 1988, Mark Mathews established The Rêve Pavilion Natural Health Clinic, providing an integrated and multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of all kinds of health problems. Being dyslexic himself, Mark has always had a special interest in helping children with learning difficulties. In 1995, he set up the Sunflower Trust.

TIM JEWERS BSc (Hons) Ost.

Tim Jewers is a registered osteopath, having qualified at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has worked at The Rêve Pavilion since 1998.

Tim was involved in the original Sunflower Programme and is a qualified Sunflower Practitioner. He enjoys helping children with learning, behavioural and health difficulties to better achieve their potential.

As a keen sportsman, Tim has a particular interest in treating sports injuries. He works with sportsmen and women competing at the highest levels including professional rugby players, current WPGA competitors, tennis professionals and the Shidokan GB Team.

Tim has an in-depth understanding of the biomechanics of the feet and applies aspects of the Sunflower Programme and the latest RS Scan software to correct dysfunction of the feet and also prescribe orthotics.
